Is it safe to travel to Medellín and Colombia?
Yes. Medellín is a safe city today for visitors who move around sensibly, and on all our tours you are with a local guide. On the packages, the accompanying guide is with you for the whole trip.
Are the tours just for my group?
Yes. All our tours and packages are private: just your group and your guide. We never mix travellers from different bookings.
How do I book and pay?
You write to us, we send a proposal with a fixed price and, if it suits you, you confirm with a deposit. The balance is paid before the trip by bank transfer or card.
Can I cancel or change the date?
Yes. Date changes are free with notice, and cancellations are refunded according to the conditions we send with the proposal.
What languages are the tours in?
English and Spanish. Ask us about other languages.
Do you pick up at the hotel or the airport?
Yes. All tours include pick-up and drop-off at your accommodation in Medellín. On the packages we meet you at the arrival airport.
Do I need to speak Spanish?
No. All our guides speak fluent English and handle everything for you: restaurants, tickets, transport and any conversation you want to have with locals.
When is the best time to visit Colombia?
Any time of year. Medellín is around 22–24 °C (72–75 °F) all year, Cartagena is hot and tropical, and the Coffee Region is mild. December to March and July to August are the driest months.
Can I pay in US dollars or by card?
Yes. You can pay the deposit and balance by credit card or bank transfer in USD or EUR. On the ground, Colombia uses the Colombian peso and we tell you where to change money safely.
